Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work “Penyo-Henyo” Pyopyo Edition "Good Morning, Good Morning" by Mr.. It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,794,000.00 (€ 337,881.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Penyo-Henyo” Pyopyo Edition "Good Morning, Good Morning" von Mr. zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 2.794.000,00 (€ 337.881,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
