The work "PENYO-HENYO" NYONYO EDITION "OT-TOTTO" by Mr. was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,428.64), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "PENYO-HENYO" NYONYO EDITION "OT-TOTTO" von Mr. kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.428,64) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
