Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Two Works) by Mr. Doodle was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 64,000.00 (€ 7,510.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Doodle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Two Works) von Mr. Doodle kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 64.000,00 (€ 7.510,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
