Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work Al Torrente Sui Monti Di Stresa by Mosè Bianchi. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 33,948.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mosè Bianchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Italian Venetian Boatboy, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 60,500.00 (€ 84,715.65).
