Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work G. 1-64 No.1 by Morteza Sazegar. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,404.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Morteza Sazegar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work C11-65 NO.1 PINK, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 13,812.00 (€ 15,211.52).
