A top price for Mori Kinsen - as previously expected
In October 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Indonesian Art, which included the work Under the tree by Mori Kinsen. The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Under the tree is the most expensive artwork by Mori Kinsen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Indonesian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Under the tree von Mori Kinsen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Under the tree das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mori Kinsen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
