Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Flowers by Montien Boonma was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,118.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Montien Boonma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 154,914.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Flowers von Montien Boonma kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.118,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Montien Boonma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 154.914,34).
