Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work " From the painting series, Outing", 2000. by Monika Larsen Dennis was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in March 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at SEK 4,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 2,000.00 (€ 223.22). Admittedly, works by Monika Larsen Dennis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Hands (7)", 2002 in April 2021 with an auction result of SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,278.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit " From the painting series, Outing", 2000. von Monika Larsen Dennis im März 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit SEK 4.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 2.000,00 (€ 223,22) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Monika Larsen Dennis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Hands (7)", 2002 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.278,39).
