Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Woman/River by Mona Saudi for USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,293.65). This price was achieved in the auction This Too Shall Pass at Sothebys in Dubai and was even below the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Mona Saudi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2016 by the work Jordanian lovers at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 76,697.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woman/River von Mona Saudi für USD 47.500,00 (€ 42.293,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion This Too Shall Pass bei Sothebys in Dubai erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Mona Saudi wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2016 die Arbeit Jordanian lovers mit GBP 60.000,00 (€ 76.697,84).
