Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled (From the Monotype Series) by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,256.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Continuita x3 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 113,400.00 (€ 134,348.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled (From the Monotype Series) von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.256,39) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Continuita x3 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 113.400,00 (€ 134.348,37).
