Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections, which included the work Line In The Sand by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam. The price achieved of GBP 37,750.00 (€ 43,988.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Continuita x3, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 113,400.00 (€ 134,348.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Line In The Sand von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.750,00 (€ 43.988,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Continuita x3 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 113.400,00 (€ 134.348,37) versteigert wurde.
