Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Mohammed Ali Taraghijah for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,823.28). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II at Christies in Dubai and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Ali Taraghijah have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 51,400.00 (€ 33,016.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohammed Ali Taraghijah für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.823,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammed Ali Taraghijah auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.400,00 (€ 33.016,44).
