Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled -11 by Mohammad Ali Talpur was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,032.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mohammad Ali Talpur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Leeka in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 247,500.00 (€ 21,636.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled -11 von Mohammad Ali Talpur kam im April 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.032,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammad Ali Talpur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Leeka im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 247.500,00 (€ 21.636,03).
