A top price for Mohamed Said Chair - as previously expected
The work Room Mates, 2021 by Mohamed Said Chair was sold in the A Moroccan Spring auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in May 2021. The price achieved of MAD 71,500.00 (€ 6,273.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 55,000.00 – 88,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Room Mates, 2021 is the most expensive artwork by Mohamed Said Chair that we have observed at auctions so far.
