The work Waiting for You by Moe Nakamura was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 53,100.00 (€ 5,817.82), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moe Nakamura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Waiting for You von Moe Nakamura wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 53.100,00 (€ 5.817,82) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moe Nakamura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
