Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Innocent Stare by Moe Nakamura was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 378,000.00 (€ 41,612.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moe Nakamura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Innocent Stare von Moe Nakamura wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 41.612,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moe Nakamura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
