Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees by Mo McDermott was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 576.00 (€ 854.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Mo McDermott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trees in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,625.00 (€ 3,629.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trees von Mo McDermott kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 576,00 (€ 854,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mo McDermott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trees im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.625,00 (€ 3.629,20).
