Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kumo (Cloud) Oct. 3.3.4 by Miya Ando was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 19,935.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miya Ando - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tasogare faint lilac blue 48.42, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 441,000.00 (€ 47,904.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kumo (Cloud) Oct. 3.3.4 von Miya Ando wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 19.935,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Miya Ando mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tasogare faint lilac blue 48.42 beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 441.000,00 (€ 47.904,03) versteigert wurde.
