A top price for Miwa Yanagi - as previously expected
The work Elevator Girl House B3 by Miwa Yanagi was sold in the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,535.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Elevator Girl House B3 is the most expensive artwork by Miwa Yanagi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Elevator Girl House B3 von Miwa Yanagi wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.535,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Elevator Girl House B3 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Miwa Yanagi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
