A top price for Mira Nakashima - as previously expected
In June last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Double sliding door cabinet by Mira Nakashima. The price achieved of HKD 163,800.00 (€ 19,933.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Double sliding door cabinet is the most expensive artwork by Mira Nakashima that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Double sliding door cabinet von Mira Nakashima zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 163.800,00 (€ 19.933,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Double sliding door cabinet das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mira Nakashima, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
