Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2005 Christies in Madrid held the auction ARTE ESPANOL, which included the work Mater fósil by Miquel Navarro. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miquel Navarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Esfinge (Homenaje a Chillida) (Sphinx) in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,687.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion ARTE ESPANOL durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mater fósil von Miquel Navarro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miquel Navarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Esfinge (Homenaje a Chillida) (Sphinx) im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 46.687,16).
