Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2015 Christies in New York held the auction An Inquiring Mind: American Collecting of Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Fuyo (Mt. Fuji), circa 1800 by Minagawa Kien. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,911.66). Other works by Minagawa Kien have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 2,820.00 (€ 3,135.77) in October 2001 for the work Landscape and poem.

Im April 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion An Inquiring Mind: American Collecting of Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fuyo (Mt. Fuji), circa 1800 von Minagawa Kien zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.911,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Minagawa Kien haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.820,00 (€ 3.135,77) im Oktober 2001 für die Arbeit Landscape and poem beobachtet.
