In April 2012 Christies in London held the auction Travel, Science and Natural History, which included the work A View of Wignacourt Tower with St Paul's Bay beyond, Malta; and Xebecs and a Steamer off a Mediterranean coast by Millson Hunt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,452.94), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Millson Hunt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Perthshire, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 8,033.64).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.452,94) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Millson Hunt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Perthshire beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für GBP 4.700,00 (€ 8.033,64) versteigert wurde.
