Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Composition Geometrique by Miloud Labied was auctioned at Artcurial in November 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 9,100.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miloud Labied - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1974, which sold at auction in November this year for MAD 341,120.00 (€ 31,241.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Composition Geometrique von Miloud Labied im November 2014 bei Artcurial versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 9.100,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Miloud Labied mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1974 beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für MAD 341.120,00 (€ 31.241,19) versteigert wurde.
