In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons, which included the work Winter Landscape by Mikhail Markianovich Germachev. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,245.92), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Markianovich Germachev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of Cathedral Of Christ The Saviour, Moscow, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,797.46).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.245,92) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
