Despite a disappointment, a good price for Mihail Filipovitch Ivanov
When the work Russian Beloved Site. A Folk Painting by Mihail Filipovitch Ivanov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,453.24). Despite this disappointing result, Russian Beloved Site. A Folk Painting is the most expensive artwork by Mihail Filipovitch Ivanov that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Russian Beloved Site. A Folk Painting von Mihail Filipovitch Ivanov im April 2008 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
