Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2001 Christies in New York held the auction LATIN AMERICAN ART, which included the work Santa Prisca Virgen by Miguel Cabrera. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 41,125.00 (€ 45,908.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Miguel Cabrera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Nacimiento De La Virgen; La Llegada A Belén; La Adoración De Los Reyes Magos; La Presentación En El Templo; La Huida A Egipto; La Muerte De San José; Pentecostés; La Asunción De La Virgen in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 362,500.00 (€ 278,076.10).

Im November 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion LATIN AMERICAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Santa Prisca Virgen von Miguel Cabrera zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 41.125,00 (€ 45.908,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
