In April 2011 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two, which included the work Omphalos Vi by Miguel Ángel Campano. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 19,950.00 66% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Omphalos Vi the most expensive artwork by Miguel Ángel Campano that we have observed at auctions so far.
