In the The House Sale auction, the work In the Garden changed hands for USD 7,767.50 (€ 7,880.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Middleton Jameson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2010 by the work Assigai making Mashonaland at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,120.70).
