A top price for Mick Durrant - as previously expected
The work Marina III by Mick Durrant was sold in the Prints (online) auction at Bonhams in New York in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 100.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 102.40 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Marina III is the most expensive artwork by Mick Durrant that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Marina III von Mick Durrant wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints (online) bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 102,40 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Marina III das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mick Durrant, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
