It achieved a price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,002.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Michele Desubleo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Nicholas with the three school children and a Carthusian monk in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 52,800.00 (€ 77,306.00).

Die Arbeit A Half-Length Female Figure, Possibly Venus von Michele Desubleo kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.002,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michele Desubleo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Nicholas with the three school children and a Carthusian monk im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.800,00 (€ 77.306,00).
