In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Street scene in Naples changed hands for USD 437.50 (€ 277.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele de Simone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Processione di S. Giovanni ad Isola Comiccina in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 3,472.00.
