Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction European Art, which included the work Sunny Hillside in Tuscany by Michele Cascella. The price achieved of USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,693.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,500.00 – 5,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Cascella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paris, Les Tuileries in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 103,377.89).
