The work Ginestre by Michele Cascella was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in December 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,400.00 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Cascella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paris, Les Tuileries in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 103,377.89).

Die Arbeit Ginestre von Michele Cascella wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.400,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Cascella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paris, Les Tuileries im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 103.377,89).
