It achieved a price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 50,746.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Jean Cazabon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint-Pierre, Martinique, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 137,741.48).

Die Arbeit Port of Spain from Cotton Hill von Michel Jean Cazabon wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Topographical Pictures including Selections from the Kelton Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 50.746,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%.
