Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 27,083.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Dorigny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Erato, Muse De La Poésie Lyrique, which sold at auction in November 2021 for EUR 91,000.00.
