Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Ombres Sur Le Vieux Mur by Michel de Gallard was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in February 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 310.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel de Gallard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pont De Paris in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 4,940.00.

Die Arbeit Les Ombres Sur Le Vieux Mur von Michel de Gallard wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 310,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel de Gallard erzielen.
