In the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolours (Day Sale) auction, the work Vertumnus and Pomona changed hands for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,209.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Vertumnus and Pomona is the most expensive artwork by Michel Corneille I that we have observed at auction so far.
