This artwork by Michał Jankowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in October 2020. In the SOR Rusche Collection - PART VII auction, the work "Portret Zdegenerowany" (The Degenerated Portrait) II sold for EUR 1,041.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Michał Jankowski; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot „Z BARANKIEM NA KARKU“ (Mit einem Lamm auf den Schultern). sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of EUR 1,500.00.
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michał Jankowski erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SOR Rusche Collection - PART VII wurde die Arbeit "Portret Zdegenerowany" (The Degenerated Portrait) II für EUR 1.041,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Michał Jankowski; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit „Z BARANKIEM NA KARKU“ (Mit einem Lamm auf den Schultern). im November 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.500,00.
