Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael Wutky could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 auction, the work A VIEW OF TIVOLI changed hands for EUR 9,450.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Wutky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Eruption Of The Vesuvius in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 235,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Wutky konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 wechselte die Arbeit A VIEW OF TIVOLI für EUR 9.450,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Wutky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Eruption Of The Vesuvius im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 235.500,00.
