Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,276.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Vincent Brandoin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Ville de Vevey prise de la Tourde-de-Peilz., which sold at auction in March 2017 for CHF 3,500.00 (€ 3,272.29).
