A top price for Michael Sevier - as previously expected
The work Designs for The Ballerina and The Moor in Petrushka (two works) by Michael Sevier was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,958.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Designs for The Ballerina and The Moor in Petrushka (two works) is the most expensive artwork by Michael Sevier that we have observed at auctions so far.
