A top price for Michael Sandle
In December 2002 Christies in London held the auction Twentieth Century British Art, which included the work Drummer by Michael Sandle. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,705.53), 18% above the upper estimate. With this result, Drummer is even the most expensive work of art by Michael Sandle that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Twentieth Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drummer von Michael Sandle zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.705,53) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Drummer sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Michael Sandle, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
