This work of art by Michael Chiriani could be acquired at Christies in New York in August last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Insider Art: Christie’s New York Staff Show auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,251.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Michael Chiriani that we have observed at auction so far.
