Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK, which included the work A still life with flowers in a vase, cherries and a pear by Metten Koornstra. It changed hands for a price of NLG 5,875.00 (€ 2,570.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Metten Koornstra have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2001 the work Quatorze Juillet was auctioned for NLG 6,462.50 (€ 2,827.86).

Im Januar 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS AT THE KUNSTFABRIEK durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with flowers in a vase, cherries and a pear von Metten Koornstra zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 5.875,00 (€ 2.570,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
