Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Sans Titre - 1990 by MEO. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,080.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by MEO have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2020 the work Sans Titre - 1990 was auctioned for EUR 2,340.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1990 von MEO zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.080,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von MEO konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2020 die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1990 für EUR 2.340,00 versteigert.
