A top price for Menachem Shemi - as previously expected
The work Safed by Menachem Shemi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,673.34), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Safed is the most expensive artwork by Menachem Shemi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Safed von Menachem Shemi kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
