Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Art of the Soviet Union, which included the work Morning by Mechislav Vasilievich Dobrokovsky. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,121.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Mechislav Vasilievich Dobrokovsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work The Steel Worker was auctioned for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,959.53).
