Auction result well in line with expectations
The work deer boy by Mayuka Yamamoto was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 508,000.00 (€ 59,481.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mayuka Yamamoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Penguin Boy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit deer boy von Mayuka Yamamoto kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 508.000,00 (€ 59.481,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mayuka Yamamoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Penguin Boy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
