Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Envers Du Décor - 2016 by Maye was sold in the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction at Artcurial in Paris in February 2020. The price achieved of EUR 5,980.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Résurgence - 2021 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 27,552.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Envers Du Décor - 2016 von Maye wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.980,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Résurgence - 2021 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.552,00.
